Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Role: Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Location: Bangalore | Noida | Gurgaon | Hyderabad | Pune | Chennai | Mumbai

Experience: 4 to 7 an 7 to 12 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Web applications using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) or hybrid frameworks
• Perform UI, API, and regression testing for web applications
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions)
• Execute cross-browser testing across Chrome, Firefox, and Edge
• Develop reusable test utilities and improve framework scalability and stability
• Work closely with development and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Analyze test failures, log defects, and track issues using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps
• Perform API validation using tools like Postman
• Ensure test coverage, quality, and continuous improvement of automation suites

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver and Playwright
• Good understanding of JavaScript / Java
• Experience in POM framework design
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Experience in API testing and SQL validation
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies
