Automation Engineer

Note: This position is based in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Please apply only if you are willing to relocate to Erbil.

Role Purpose:

Establishing and implementation of the planned maintenance program across technical department functions (Process, Filling, and Utilities), in addition to Facilities Management and technical support tasks.

Key Accountabilities & Activities:

• Planned Maintenance management: documentation, implementation, services/spares preparation, and issuing work orders.
• Lead building maintenance team for timely and cost-efficient maintenance activities.
• Coordinate and assist in installation and qualification of new equipment to ensure quality and timely commissioning.
• Implement and maintain all program requirements: Damwise, ISO 9002, HACCP, PRP, Damaway, Neptune & FSI.
• Lead planning of preventive maintenance of all plant equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Lead corrective maintenance of all plant equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Prepare and track the maintenance budget to minimize cost.
• Lead spare-parts inventory management to maintain efficient inventory levels.
• Provide training and development opportunities to all maintenance staff.
• Implement approved departmental policies and procedures in a controlled manner.
• Ensure all departmental reports are prepared timely and accurately per company standards.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies.

Job Specifications:

• Experience: 8 years in technical maintenance in a fresh dairy plant or similar environment
• Education: Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics
