Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented US Audit Associate with experience in Commercial Audits to support audit engagements for privately held and middle-market companies across various industries. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in executing audit procedures, preparing workpapers, and working with U.S. GAAP and auditing standards while collaborating with onshore engagement teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures for commercial audit engagements in accordance with U.S. GAAS and firm methodologies.
• Prepare and document audit workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Test internal controls, perform substantive testing, and evaluate audit evidence.
• Assist in auditing financial statement line items including cash, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, accounts payable, revenue, expenses, and equity.
• Perform analytical procedures and account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Communicate with onshore teams to resolve audit queries and ensure timely completion of engagements.
• Maintain audit documentation in compliance with firm quality standards.
• Support engagement teams during planning, execution, and completion phases of audits.
• Meet engagement deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA Inter, CPA (Pursuing), ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• 14 years of experience in U.S. Audit with exposure to Commercial Audit engagements.
• Good understanding of U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and audit methodologies.
• Experience in preparing audit workpapers and performing substantive audit procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
