Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Astronomy Educator based in Kolkata . The Astronomy Educator will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging astronomy lessons to students, organizing and conducting training sessions, and facilitating interactive Astronomy-based activities using portable planetariums and hands-on DIY kits. Additionally, the Educator will support the development of educational programs and promote Astronomy concepts to inspire learners.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and developing curriculum tailored to Astronomy subjects for students of various age groups.
• Experience in Education, including delivering engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, educators, and communities.
• Proven skills in Teaching and conducting training sessions.
• Ability to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for Astronomy and Space Science.
• Familiarity with practical tools like planetarium setups or DIY kits is a plus.
• A background in science, education, or a related field is preferred.
