Associate

SR Law Practice (SRLP) is a dynamic law firm based in Bengaluru, serving individuals, start-ups, and businesses ranging from small enterprises to large corporations, as well as angel investors, founders, and venture capitalists. The firm specializes in corporate and commercial laws, contracts, transactions, and investments, providing strategic guidance to clients. SRLP also offers expertise in regulatory compliance, foreign exchange laws, employment laws, and documentation.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate at SR Law Practice, based in Bengaluru. As an Associate, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, managing corporate and commercial transactions, and conducting thorough legal research. The role requires interaction with clients, foreign exchange law compliance, regulatory documentation, and advisory support on corporate governance, employment law, and investment matters. You will directly interact with and support clients across sectors, including start-ups and established businesses.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in legal drafting, contract review and negotiation, legal research, and preparing detailed regulatory and compliance documentation
• Strong aptitude for technology, with the ability to quickly understand, adopt, and effectively use new tools and platforms in legal practice
• Working knowledge of corporate, technology, IP, and employment laws, foreign exchange regulations, and corporate governance matters
• Excellent communication, client management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment with strong time management skills
