Role Description The Associate Professor will be responsible for delivering computer science lessons to school-age learners, designing engaging curricula, and adapting teaching methods to different learning styles. Day-to-day activities include preparing lesson plans, conducting on-site classes in Ahmedabad, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment. The role also involves collaborating with other faculty to develop teaching materials, participating in academic planning, and supporting extracurricular coding activities and workshops. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring regular interaction with students, parents or guardians, and the academic team.

Qualifications

• Master's or PHD in Computer Science, Data Science, Product Design or AI
• Strong foundation in computer science or a closely related field, with the ability to teach core programming and computational thinking concepts.
• Prior teaching or training experience with children or young learners, including lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in clear, age-appropriate language.
• Demonstrated ability to foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking in students through interactive activities and projects.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Education, Engineering, or a related discipline; teaching certifications or pedagogical training are an advantage.
• Comfort working in a collaborative academic environment, openness to feedback, and commitment to continuous professional development.
