JOB DESCRIPTION Associate Manager- Business Finance

Bangalore - work on-site 3 days per week

Senior Manager- Business Finance

Role Overview

This individual will focus on FP&A, commercial finance, and business partnering, working closely with Sales, Delivery, Operations, and Leadership to influence decisions through data, insights, and financial rigor. The role requires a growth mindset, technology oriented, deeply involved in analysis, modeling, structured reviews, and problem-solving.

What Youll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business teams to track performance against budgets, forecasts, and strategic goals.
• Participate in the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly performance review processes.
• Prepare management dashboards, variance analyses, and profitability assessments at client/project level including utilization, contribution/gross margins, rate realization, funnel conversion.
• Support commercial decision-making by developing business cases, pricing models, and ROI analyses.
• Enforce pricing guardrails, margin thresholds, and deal approval frameworks
• Identify margin improvement areas and work collaboratively with delivery, sales, and procurement teams.
• Partner with Accounting/Controllership to ensure accurate closes, aligned reporting, and appropriate revenue recognition
• Drive automation and standardization across financial reporting and planning processes.
• Liaise with auditors and support internal control and governance requirements.
• Lead or support cross-functional initiatives on cost optimization and financial process improvement.

Your Expertise

• We are looking for an individual to serve as a finance partner to business teams. This role is critical to driving profitable growth, margin discipline, and cash efficiency across business units, clients, and service lines.
• 3-6 years of total experience with FP&A or business finance skills
• Prior experience in IT/ITES, consulting, or B2B services organizations is strongly preferred
• CA and/or MBA with a solid grounding in financial modeling, management reporting, and business partnering
