About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic AWS DevOps Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in building, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with DevOps tools, automation, and cloud-native services, and will work closely with development and QA teams to enable reliable and scalable software delivery.
This role focuses on improving deployment efficiency, system reliability, and automation across environments.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application build, test, and deployment
- Support cloud infrastructure setup and management on AWS
- Automate deployment processes using infrastructure-as-code and scripting
- Monitor applications and infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline build and release processes
- Manage source code repositories and branching strategies
- Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures and infrastructure issues
- Implement basic security and compliance best practices in DevOps workflows
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps tools, practices, and processes
What You Need to Be Successful
Cloud & AWS
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
- EC2
- S3
- IAM
- VPC
- CloudWatch
- Basic understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
CI/CD & DevOps Tools
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as:
- Jenkins
- GitHub Actions (or similar)
- Working knowledge of Git and source code management
Automation & Scripting
- Basic to intermediate scripting skills in Shell or Python
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as:
- Terraform
- AWS CloudFormation (preferred)
Containers & Platforms
- Basic understanding of Docker
- Exposure to Kubernetes / EKS is an advantage
OS & Networking
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (ports, DNS, security groups)
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices
- Experience supporting microservices-based architectures
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum environments
- AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner / Associate level)
