Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect end-to-end Business Intelligence and Data Engineering solutions on Azure following industry best practices.
Demonstrate expertise in Azure Data Services, including Databricks (Delta Lake, PySpark, Scala), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Microsoft Fabric.
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, execution plans, index tuning, and enterprise data models.
Build and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using SSRS and Power BI.
Implement data modelling concepts, with awareness of Data Vault architecture.
Manage source control for data pipelines using Git and branching strategies.

Associate Architect Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end solution architecture, including documentation such as ERDs, Data Flow Diagrams, and Technical Requirement Documents (TRDs).
Drive data governance, quality, lineage, cataloguing, security, and policy enforcement initiatives.
Define and implement Azure cost optimization strategies for compute and storage.
Collaborate with stakeholders for estimation, roadmap planning, and communication on data initiatives.

Good to Have:

Exposure to Azure ML / MLflow integration with Databricks and ML pipelines.
Awareness of DBT (Data Build Tool).
Experience designing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for data platforms.
Knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana, Splunk, or Elastic.
