Front Office Investment Banking / Markets Opportunity

FX & Rates Sales | Mumbai

An opportunity to gain frontoffice exposure on the trading floor of a leading global investment bank. We are hiring an Analyst / Associate under Acuity Analytics headcount, working with the FX & Rates Sales team of a toptier investment bank.

The role offers direct tradingfloor exposure and, for strong performers, the potential to convert into a permanent Analyst / Associate position on the banks own headcount, subject to performance and business requirements.

Job Purpose

The Platform

You will be part of a wellestablished FX & Rates franchise, active across corporates, financial sponsors, M&Arelated risk management, and crossborder transactions. The role sits within a frontoffice sales team on the trading floor, working closely with FX & Rates traders, senior sales, structurers, and investment bankers. The team advises clients on FX and interestrate risk management solutions across AsiaPacific, supporting real transactions and strategic decisions. You will report into senior leadership based in Singapore and Mumbai and collaborate with teams across the region. The focus is solutionsled markets advisory, rather than pure execution.

Job Responsibilities

From the outset, you will:

• Work on the trading floor alongside FX & Rates Sales
• Support live client transactions across AsiaPacific
• Analyse FX, rates, inflation, and macroeconomic risks
• Assist in structuring clientspecific hedging solutions
• Support pricing, idea generation, onboarding, documentation, and presentations
• Prepare materials used in client meetings and internal committees

This role is structured to provide meaningful frontoffice experience for candidates aiming to build a longterm Investment Banking / Markets career

Who This Is For

• Is a graduate or postgraduate from a leading institution (Top IITs, IIMs, or comparable global universities), with an excellent academic record
• Is keen to build a career in FX / Rates sales or markets at a top Investment Bank
• Seeks exposure to real client situations and transactions
• Has strong analytical skills, commercial curiosity and outstanding communication skills
• Is comfortable working in a fastpaced tradingfloor environment and has strong prior experience / knowledge of derivatives
• Wants to understand how FX and rates are applied in corporate and sponsor decisionmaking

Prior markets / investment banking exposure is highly desired
