Assistant Professor – Technology (Computer Science / AI / Quantum Computing / Blockchain)

Woxsen University seeks exceptional scholars in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Blockchain, or related domains to contribute to a frontier-driven, interdisciplinary technology ecosystem integrating research, industry innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The position emphasizes deep research, advanced teaching, and translational innovation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Curriculum Development

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in areas such as:
• Algorithms and Data Structures
• Distributed Systems
• Blockchain Architecture
• Quantum Algorithms and Computing
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Cloud and High-Performance Computing
• Design project-based and research-driven learning experiences.
• Supervise undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral research.

2. Research & Innovation

• Conduct original research and publish in top conferences and journals (IEEE, ACM, Nature portfolio, etc.).
• Build research labs or thematic research clusters.
• Pursue interdisciplinary work with business, design, and social sciences.
• Apply for research grants and collaborate internationally.

Research is a core expectation of assistant professors globally, alongside teaching and mentoring responsibilities.

3. Technology Translation & Industry Collaboration

• Develop prototypes, patents, or applied research outcomes.
• Collaborate with startups, deep-tech companies, and government agencies.
• Mentor student startups and hackathon teams.

4. Institutional Contribution

• Participate in accreditation, curriculum review, and committees.
• Contribute to building global partnerships and joint programs.
• Support research centers and innovation labs.

Qualifications

Essential

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantum Computing, or related field.
• Strong programming, mathematical, or systems research background.
• Evidence of research potential and publications.
