Job Description
Role Overview
An Electronics & Communication Engineer in the education sector is responsible for teaching, training, and mentoring students in electronics and communication subjects, while also supporting lab development, academic planning, and research activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach core subjects such as analog & digital electronics, communication systems, microprocessors, and embedded systems
- Develop lesson plans, course materials, and instructional content
- Conduct laboratory sessions and guide students in practical experiments
- Mentor and support students in academic projects, internships, and career development
- Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and assessments
- Maintain and manage electronics labs and equipment
- Stay updated with emerging technologies (IoT, 5G, embedded systems) and integrate them into teaching
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning
- Contribute to research, publications, or technical workshops (especially in colleges/universities)
Required Skills
- Strong fundamentals in electronics and communication engineering
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, engaging way
- Good presentation and classroom management skills
- Hands-on experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, circuit kits, microcontrollers)
- Basic programming knowledge (C, Python, MATLAB, etc.)
- Communication and mentoring skills
Qualifications
- For Schools / Diploma Institutes: Bachelors degree (B.E./B.Tech in ECE or related field)
- For Colleges / Universities: Masters degree (M.E./M. Tech in ECE or specialization)
- Preferred PhD Candidates
