Assistant Manager – Project Execution (Rooftop Solar)

We are looking for a results-driven Assistant Manager of Project Execution to lead our on-site operations. This is a pivotal role that bridges the gap between technical design, field execution, and client satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing a team of site engineers, overseeing multiple project timelines simultaneously, and ensuring that our solar installations are delivered with financial and technical precision.

1. Team Leadership & Resource Management

• Allocate and manage tasks for Site Engineers, balancing workloads to ensure peak operational efficiency.
• Oversee team administration, including the approval of leave requests and compensatory offs to maintain consistent site coverage.

2. Project Planning & Multi-Site Coordination

• Assign and manage Installation & Commissioning (InC) teams based on project-specific requirements.
• Track project timelines across various sites, implementing proactive corrective actions to ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare detailed work orders for InC teams, clearly outlining deliverables and safety standards.

3. Financial Oversight & Client Liaison

• Review and verify on-site expense reports and project payment estimates to ensure budget compliance and transparency.
• Manage client payment follow-ups and handle financial transactions related to the InC teams.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients on-site, leading progress meetings and ensuring alignment with approved designs.

4. Technical Design & Statutory Compliance

• Prepare and update essential technical drawings, including SLDs, block layouts, ACDB/DCDB diagrams, and string layouts.
• Manage the documentation process for net metering applications and coordinate with DISCOM to resolve any initial billing discrepancies.
• Lead the formal project handover process, ensuring all technical deliverables and inspections are completed to the client's satisfaction.
  

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 35 years in Solar Project Execution or EPC roles.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD for technical drawings and a deep understanding of DISCOM net metering processes.
• Skills: Strong financial acumen, project scheduling expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
