Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager- Learning Operations oversees a team of paraprofessionals responsible for the execution and administration of key talent related activities. This role optimizes Learning Operations and COE performance by designing effective workflows. The supervisor partners closely with relevant internal stakeholders, and vendors as applicable, to ensure operational strategy processes remain efficient and productive
Job Responsibility:
Team Management: Lead and manage the Learning Operations production team, providing training and supervision to ensure successful outcomes and overseeing team members' execution of daily tasks and deliverables. Provide guidance and support to team members on their various day-to-day activities.
Collaboration: Work on cross-functional teams and represent the Operations team/function in meetings with key stakeholders in lieu of direct manager, communicating with stakeholders as needed and updating manager accordingly
Performance Optimization: Own Learning Operations Sops, quality control and process documentation for your respective team, optimizing team performance and efficiency to meet firm needs
Operational Oversight: Oversee execution of transactional, repeatable, and/or shared services talent related tasks such as Workday or other system transactions, scheduling, background checks, compliance monitoring, onboarding, eLearning, and other talent related operations
Vendor Management: Support key talent vendor relationships, acting as day-to-day contact for regular course of business, and escalate issues or new needs as necessary to leadership
Program Administration: Oversee and/or administer various talent related programming as applicable. Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and procedures
Process and Procedure Development: Assist the Manager and other Talent Operations Leaders in setting goals and objectives for the department or team, and provide assistance in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and productivity. Assist in cross-functionally training Talent Operations team member
Project Implementation: Assist with the implementation of new projects, programs, or initiatives
Accountability: Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
6 to 8 years of experience
Experience informally leading cross-matrixed teams, overseeing lower-level employees work and providing guidance and direction on deliverables
Demonstrated experience in HR, Talent, or Learning Operations process and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite
Preferred Requirement:
Education: Bachelors Degree
Knowledge of Learning & Development principles, practice, and procedures
Experience leading cross-matrixed teams, overseeing lower-level employees work and providing guidance and direction on deliverables
Develop a personal reputation for providing superior customer service to internal stakeholders and building a culture around collaboration and partnership.
Great communication and interpersonal skills
