Assistant Manager – Architecture Design

Job Purpose:

This role should have a strong academic and professional background in architecture and the ability to contribute to design development, coordination, and project delivery. This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into buildable, high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of architectural concepts for hospitality, residential, or commercial projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, 3D models, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Support in client presentations, design reviews, and obtaining necessary design approvals.
• Work closely with consultants and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
• Ensure adherence to local codes, zoning laws, and project specifications.
• Manage documentation, BOQs, and basic project coordination under guidance of senior team members.

Qualifications and Work Experience:

• Bachelors degree (B.Arch) or Masters degree (M.Arch) in Architecture from a reputed institution.
• 35 years of experience in architecture design roles, preferably with exposure to hospitality or premium projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, space planning, and construction detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (preferred), Photoshop, and MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of building codes, material specifications, and project workflows.
• Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Ability to take initiative, receive feedback, and deliver quality outputs under deadlines.
