Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Intern will support the development and experimentation of AI solutions in a part-time, remote role. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching AI techniques, assisting in building and training machine learning models, and contributing to data preprocessing and evaluation tasks. The intern will help implement algorithms in code, document findings, and collaborate with mentors and team members on AI-driven features for learning and assessment tools. The role may also involve reviewing academic and industry literature, preparing reports or presentations, and participating in virtual meetings and code reviews.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and programming concepts.
Analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate models, and solve complex technical problems.
Exposure to Data Science methods, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and basic statistical analysis.
Experience or coursework in Machine Learning, such as supervised/unsupervised learning, model training, and evaluation.
Programming skills in languages commonly used for AI (e.g., Python, R, or similar), and familiarity with relevant libraries or frameworks.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate using online tools.
Interest in educational technology, AI-driven learning platforms, and building practical, real-world solutions.
