Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer with experience in finance or regulated environments to help architect and build AI systems for the future of Open Finance.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across research, rapid prototyping, and production-grade engineering while solving real-world problems involving AI, data privacy, financial workflows, and intelligent automation.

You will work on conversational AI systems, agentic orchestration, AI-powered workflows, governance-aware AI architectures, and ecosystem-scale data intelligence platforms.

You will collaborate closely with leadership, researchers, policy teams, ecosystem participants, banks, fintechs, and technology partners.

• Design, prototype, and build AI-powered systems for Open Finance and financial services use cases.
• Develop conversational AI and agentic workflow systems for ecosystem-level financial and data-driven use cases.
• Build and evaluate LLM-based solutions using modern AI frameworks, APIs, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Work on AI architectures involving:
• LLMs and SLMs
• Agentic orchestration
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Semantic search
• Vector databases
• AI policy and conformance systems
• Integrate AI capabilities with financial data platforms, APIs, and cloud ecosystems.
• Collaborate with ecosystem participants including banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and technology partners to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
• Prototype rapidly and convert ideas into scalable production-ready systems.
• Apply best practices around LLMOps, monitoring, evaluation, governance, versioning, and operational reliability.
• Contribute to AI governance, observability, auditability, and responsible AI architectures.
• Help define technical approaches and architectures for AI systems operating in regulated financial ecosystems.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience building AI/ML or LLM-based systems in production environments.
• Strong understanding of:
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Conversational AI
• AI agents and agentic workflows
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Prompt engineering
• Semantic retrieval systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and modern AI/ML frameworks and libraries.
• Familiarity with modern AI ecosystems including:
• OpenAI
• Gemini
• Claude
• Open-source LLM ecosystems
• Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and retrieval systems.
• Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, and operationalization of AI systems.
• Awareness of AI governance, observability, evaluation, monitoring, and LLMOps best practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

• Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, lending, insurance, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Open Finance, Open Banking, Account Aggregator, or consent-based data-sharing ecosystems.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Google Cloud AI, Vertex AI, Azure AI, AWS AI, or Snowflake Cortex.
• Exposure to privacy-preserving systems, confidential computing, or secure AI architectures.
• Experience building AI-powered automation or agentic workflow systems.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, identity systems, or secure data-sharing architectures.

• Experience building AI systems in highly regulated environments.
• Contributions to AI research, standards bodies, open-source projects, or developer communities.
• Strong builder mindset with a bias toward experimentation and execution.
• Curiosity about the future of AI, Open Finance, Digital Public Infrastructure, and intelligent financial ecosystems.
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving innovation environments and work across multidisciplinary teams.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong portfolio of applied AI work including prototypes, production systems, research projects, or enterprise AI applications.
