Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Observability Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise-scale observability platforms across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This role demands deep expertise in Infrastructure & Application monitoring, observability, ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, Data Analytics & Visualization tools, Automation, with AIOps, and AI-driven operations, along with strong architectural and integration skills. The architect will play a key role in enabling proactive monitoring, operational resilience, and intelligent automation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and lead end-to-end observability solutions covering metrics, logs, traces, events, and alerts across on premises, AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

Configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise observability platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, along with open/enterprise tools including ELK (Elastic Stack), Telegraf, and Grafana.

Integrate Observability stack with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM.

Design and standardize alerting strategies, dashboards, SLOs, SLAs, and custom monitoring configurations across platforms.

Drive automation-first observability, including auto-remediation, self-healing, noise reduction, and operational efficiency improvements.

Develop and integrate custom scripts and extensions using Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, and platform-specific SDKs.

Integrate observability tools with ITSM , ITOM and ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira Service Management (JSM).

Leverage AIOps, GenAI, and Agentic AI capabilities for anomaly detection, predictive insights, root cause analysis, and intelligent incident handling.

Implement and manage orchestration and automation using tools such as SCORCH, Azure Automation, ServiceNow Integration Hub, Flow Designer, RPA or equivalent platforms.

Provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and mentorship to engineering and operations teams.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align observability strategy with business, security, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

1215 years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, and observability, with strong architectural ownership.

Hands-on expertise with Datadog, Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, SCOM, Azure Monitor, AWS Cloudwatch, SolarWinds or equivalent enterprise tools.

Strong experience with Elastic Stack (ELK), Grafana, Telegraf.

Proven monitoring and observability experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Excellent understanding of infrastructure, application, and network monitoring concepts.

Strong solution architecture skills with experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient platforms.

Hands-on scripting and integration experience using Python, PowerShell, REST APIs.

Experience with ServiceNow and Jira (JSM) integrations for incident and workflow automation.

Exposure to AIOps, GenAI, and AI-driven observability solutions.

Experience with automation and orchestration frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands on Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, Now Assist, Jira Software, and Confluence is an added advantage.

Cloud or observability tool certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Datadog, Dynatrace, Elastic, ServiceNow).

Team leadership or mentoring experience.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education Background/Certifications

• Any Engineering Graduate
• Observability certification in tools e.g. Logic Monitor, Dynatrace or equivalent
• Certified in Azure/AWS/GCP cloud
• ServiceNow CSA, CIS desirable
• ITIL v4 Expert
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks
