Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Chennai. The Architect will be responsible for developing concept, schematic, and detailed architectural designs, including drawings, specifications, and presentations aligned with project requirements and regulations. Day-to-day work includes coordinating with clients and internal teams, conducting site visits and surveys, and supporting planning applications and statutory approvals. The Architect will collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues and external consultants to integrate architectural, interior, structural, and building services requirements into cohesive solutions. The role also involves supporting project scheduling, monitoring design progress, managing documentation, and contributing to value engineering and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, detailing, and documentation.
• Experience with Project Management in a design or construction environment, including coordination, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
• Understanding of Integration between architectural design and related disciplines (e.g., structural, MEP, interiors) to deliver coherent solutions.
• Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling/visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and comfort with standard office software.
• Recognized professional diploma or bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and engage confidently with clients.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
