Responsibilities:

Design Development:

• Collaborate with senior architects and design team members on various projects.
• Assist in the development of architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Contribute creative ideas and solutions to design challenges.

Drafting and Documentation:

• Prepare drawings, renderings, and presentations using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and BIM tools (e.g., Revit).
• Assist in the production of construction documents, including plans, sections, and details.
• Ensure drawings and documents comply with building codes and regulations.

Research and Analysis:

• Conduct research on materials, building systems, and sustainability strategies.
• Assist in site analysis and feasibility studies for new projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Project Coordination:

• Support project coordination efforts, including communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Attend project meetings and assist in taking meeting minutes and notes.
• Help track project progress and deadlines.

Quality Control:

• Participate in quality control reviews to ensure design integrity and accuracy.
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings and material samples.

Professional Development:

• Take initiative in learning and expanding knowledge of architectural principles and practices.
• Seek mentorship and guidance from senior team members.
• Participate in training programs and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD), BIM tools (e.g., Revit), and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creativity and design.
• Portfolio demonstrating design skills and relevant projects (academic or professional).
