Appworks Platform Engineer

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced AppWorks Platform Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in OpenText AppWorks containerised deployments and cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in deploying, managing, and supporting low-code/no-code enterprise applications built on the OpenText AppWorks platform in cloud environments, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and automation.

What You'll Do:

• Design, deploy, and manage containerized OpenText AppWorks (22.x / 23.x / 24.x) environments using the OpenText Cloud Native Platform (CNAP).
• Deploy and administer OpenText AppWorks, OTDS, and OpenDJ LDAP across cloud-native infrastructures.
• Implement and support low-code / no-code business applications built on the AppWorks platform.
• Configure and maintain core AppWorks components including:
• Entity modelling
• Business Process Management (BPM)
• Web Service Applications (WS Apps)
• Data transformation and integration

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to ensure reliable application delivery and platform stability.
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Containerise applications and platform components using Docker and manage deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Troubleshoot platform, deployment, and environment-related issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Follow best practices around Git-based version control, peer code reviews, and branching strategies (trunk-based development or GitFlow).
