Job Description
Role Overview
As an Application Support Specialist, you will be the primary technical liaison for our global Quality Management (eQMS) and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) platforms, specifically ETQ and Enablon. You will ensure system stability, provide exceptional end-user support, and assist in technical configuration and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Incident Management & Technical Support
- Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the first line of defense for all user inquiries and technical issues within the ETQ and Enablon ecosystems.
- Triage & Resolution: Prioritize service requests and resolve foundational issues using proactive troubleshooting techniques.
- Escalation Management: Identify complex technical bottlenecks and facilitate seamless escalation to Level 2/3 support or the System Architect.
- SLA Compliance: Ensure all tickets are managed within agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and follow standard ITIL incident management protocols.
2. System Configuration & Deployment
- Configuration Assistance: Execute minor system configuration changes under the guidance of the Lead Architect.
- Quality Assurance: Perform system "smoke testing" post-deployment to validate fixes and ensure environment stability.
- Data Stewardship: Manage bulk data uploads, perform data reconciliations, and ensure validation activities meet compliance standards.
3. Operational Excellence & Documentation
- Knowledge Management: Maintain detailed resolution logs within ticketing systems to build a robust internal knowledge base.
- Project Tracking: Manage internal trackers for deliverables, ensuring project milestones are visible and updated.
- Reporting: Generate operational reports and perform data audits to support business decision-making.
Technical Must-Haves:
- Core Logic: A foundational understanding of Application Architecture, UI/UX principles, Databases, and Business Rules.
- Cloud Proficiency: Solid grasp of cloud service models including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
- Platform Tools: Proficiency in Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent enterprise service management tools.
- Data Literacy: Advanced skills in MS Office (specifically Excel for data reconciliation and Word for documentation).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or exposure to RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or basic scripting.
- Familiarity with EHS or Quality Management workflows.
