Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues that arise within various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain business continuity and system reliability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
- Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities related to data integration and transformation processes.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining data workflows to ensure data accuracy and system stability.
- Ability to work with complex business systems and understand interdependencies among various software components.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques for data services environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
