As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to problem identification and resolution, ensuring the smooth operation of critical software applications. The professional collaborates with different teams to monitor system performance, diagnose faults, and implement effective solutions that maintain business continuity and enhance system reliability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Document findings and resolutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance efficiency.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Service Cloud Field Service Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve software issues effectively.
- Experience with incident management and root cause analysis within enterprise software environments.
- Ability to work with multiple software components and understand their interdependencies.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with technical teams and business users.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques to proactively identify system anomalies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Service Cloud Field Service Management.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
