Experience: 8-10 years

Must have skills:

Strong hands-on Apache NiFi pipeline design & development

NiFi deployed and running in Dev environment

Architecture & deployment design for OpenStack-based CaaS

NiFi integration with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP):

• Logstash Kafka
• Kafka Kafka

Platform & pipeline scaling design and documentation

Kafka fundamentals (topics, partitions, throughput)

Deployment, networking, and configuration documentation

Good to have skills:

• NiFi clustering & High Availability
• Kubernetes / containerization exposure
• Performance tuning & load optimization
• Monitoring & alerting (NiFi reporting tasks, Grafana/Prometheus)
• Security (TLS, RBAC, Kerberos)
• CI/CD for NiFi pipelines

Roles and responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable NiFi data pipelines
• Define and document NiFi deployment architecture on OpenStack CaaS
• Implement CDP integrations with Logstash and Kafka
• Design platform and pipeline scaling strategies for increasing load
• Define a safe process to test new pipelines without impacting existing ones
• Ensure stability, performance, and production readiness
• Own technical documentation and architectural guidelines
• Collaborate with platform, infra, and data teams
