Simulation Engineer AnyLogic

We are looking for a skilled Simulation Engineer with strong exposure to industrial processes, manufacturing systems, and supply chain modeling. The role focuses on developing and optimizing discrete event simulation models using AnyLogic, supporting datadriven decisionmaking, process optimization, and automation initiatives.

About the Role

The Simulation Engineer will work closely with crossfunctional teams to model manufacturing systems, logistics flows, and automation concepts. The role involves feasibility studies, scenario analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and capacity optimization through advanced simulation techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze industrial processes, including manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and related domains
• Gather inputs from stakeholders, perform data analysis, and define simulation requirements
• Develop and maintain discrete event simulation models using AnyLogic Simulation Software
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects using simulationbased approaches
• Perform scenario analysis to:
• Identify bottlenecks
• Evaluate process changes
• Recommend system improvements
• Analyze and interpret simulation results to optimize:
• Production efficiency
• Workflow design
• Throughput and equipment utilization
• Develop custom automation scripts to enhance simulation functionality
• Document simulation assumptions, model parameters, logic, and findings
• Provide simulation insights supporting:
• Capacity planning
• Predictive maintenance
• Process optimization initiatives
• Model integration of robots, AGVs, and automation technologies into manufacturing systems
• Support continuous improvement and automation concept development
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and take ownership of deliverables

Qualifications

• Btech/BE

• Strong understanding of:
• Manufacturing systems
• Industrial processes
• Supply chain & logistics operations
• Handson experience with AnyLogic Simulation Software
• Knowledge of:
• Discrete Event Simulation (DES)
• Process modeling & system optimization
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
• Ability to think at both:
• Conceptual / abstract level
• Detailed, processlevel execution
• Experience in data analysis and interpretation
• Documentation and presentation skills for simulation outputs
