Key Skills: Apache Storm

Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintain custom NiFi processors and ensure they operate reliably in production.
Build data ingestion workflows/pipeline flows using NiFi and NiFi Registry.
Configure and administer NiFi installations, including operational readiness for production use.
Support high-velocity, high-volume stream processing using Apache Kafka and Apache NiFi (and related streaming components).
Perform NiFi performance tuning and optimize workflows based on processing behavior and throughput requirements.
Apply security principles and methods to protect data and processing pipelines.
Collaborate in an Agile environment (Scrum preferred), ideally with DevOps practices.
Communicate clearly and effectively through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ensure suitable support for production operations and timely issue resolution.

Skills Required:

Strong hands-on experience with Apache NiFi for building and managing data ingestion and streaming pipelines.
Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable data flow pipelines using NiFi and NiFi Registry.
Experience in handling high-throughput and real-time data processing using streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka.
Good understanding of distributed data systems and stream processing frameworks such as Apache Storm (where applicable).
Experience in configuring, administering, and maintaining NiFi environments for production readiness.
Strong knowledge of performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization of data pipelines to handle large-scale data volumes.
Understanding of data security principles, including securing data flows and implementing access controls in NiFi environments.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and working in Agile/Scrum environments for continuous delivery.
Ability to troubleshoot production issues, analyze pipeline failures, and ensure system reliability.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in handling complex data workflows.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
