Role Summary

Pinaca Technologies Private Limited is looking for an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions for large-scale state government projects. The role involves working closely with project stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and production-ready AI systems aligned with national security and data localization standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Model Development and RAG Architecture

- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for large government datasets and policy documents

- Develop, fine-tune, and evaluate LLMs and ML models for use cases such as sentiment analysis, translation, and risk assessment

- Ensure model accuracy, performance, and explainability for public sector transparency

- MLOps and Deployment

- Manage end-to-end MLOps lifecycle including data versioning, model tracking, and retraining pipelines

- Deploy and manage AI services in Kubernetes environments ensuring high availability and scalability

- Collaborate with data engineering teams to build real-time data pipelines

Security, Compliance and Ethics

- Ensure compliance with data localization, MeitY, and CERT-In standards

- Conduct bias and fairness audits for AI models

- Secure AI systems and pipelines against data breaches and unauthorized access

Required Skills and Experience

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Software or Data Engineering with at least 3 plus years in AI and ML

- Strong expertise in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow

- Hands-on experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex

- Strong understanding of RAG architecture and Vector Databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate

- Experience in API development using FastAPI or Flask

- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab

- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases

Preferred Background

- Experience working on Government or PSU projects

- Exposure to multilingual NLP including Marathi and other Indian languages

- Understanding of secure coding practices and encryption standards
