AI & Computer Vision Intern (Python / YOLO)

Location: Kompally, Hyderabad

Duration: 6 Months

Stipend: 15K Per Month

Responsibilities

• Build and train computer vision models for object detection, segmentation, and OCR tasks
• Assist in data collection, annotation, preprocessing, and augmentation for model training
• Fine-tune pre-trained models and improve performance through experimentation
• Evaluate model performance using standard metrics (mAP, IoU, F1-score)
• Handle real-world image challenges such as noise, blur, and lighting variations
• Integrate OCR solutions to extract structured information from images
• Develop and expose ML models via APIs (FastAPI/Flask)
• Support deployment and testing of models in real-time and batch systems
• Track experiments and maintain documentation of model performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features into applications
• Perform basic model optimization for efficient inference
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable Python code

Must-Have Skills

• Python (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• Computer Vision (OpenCV, YOLO, Image processing)
• Knowledge on OCR tools (Tesseract, EasyOCR, PaddleOCR)
• Understanding of evaluation metrics (mAP, IoU, F1-score)
• DSA & Logical Problem Solving
• Model Training, Fine-tuning & Evaluation
• debugging & monitoring
• Git and version control
• Basic Linux / CLI knowledge

Good to have

• Model optimization techniques (ONNX, TensorRT, TorchScript)
• Basic MLOps understanding (CI/CD, model versioning, reproducibility)
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure basic usage)
• Understanding of batch vs real-time inference systems
• Handling data imbalance and improving dataset quality
• Performance profiling and debugging (CPU/GPU bottlenecks)
