We are looking for highly curious and execution-driven AI Engineering Interns who want hands-on experience building real-world AI systems and agentsnot just experimenting with models.

Role Overview:

As an AI Engineering Intern, you will work directly on building Skill Veda's AI recruitment platform. You will design and develop real AI agents capable of automating workflows across sourcing, candidate engagement, screening, outreach, recruiter assistance, and intelligent hiring operations.

This is a builder role for people excited about LLMs, AI agents, automation systems, and solving practical problems.

What Youll Build:

• AI sourcing agents to identify and analyze candidate profiles
• Outreach agents for personalized communication workflows
• Screening and qualification agents
• Conversational recruitment assistants
• Workflow automation agents across hiring pipelines
• Agent orchestration systems and multi-agent workflows
• Integrations with APIs, databases, CRMs, ATS tools, and communication systems
• Internal recruiter copilots and intelligent dashboards

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy AI agents using modern LLM frameworks
• Experiment with prompting, memory systems, retrieval pipelines, and tool usage
• Develop workflows using agent orchestration frameworks
• Integrate APIs and external systems into AI workflows
• Create backend services and automation pipelines
• Collaborate with product and business teams to convert hiring challenges into AI solutions
• Test, evaluate, and improve agent performance continuously
• Document systems and contribute to platform architecture

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of Python
• Familiarity with APIs and backend development concepts
• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Exposure to agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and retrieval systems
• Familiarity with databases and vector databases
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms and deployment
• Curiosity and willingness to learn quickly

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with RAG pipelines
• Experience with AI automation tools
• Knowledge of FastAPI, Docker, or cloud deployment
• Projects involving AI assistants or agents
• Exposure to recruiting technology or workflow automation
