About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer with a proven track record of designing, building, and deploying production-grade machine learning models. You wont just be "playing with data" in a notebook; you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutions that solve complex, real-world problems.

With 4+ years of experience, you are expected to bridge the gap between theoretical research and scalable engineering, mentoring junior developers while collaborating with product teams to define the future of our AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Model Development: Design and implement state-of-the-art ML models (Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, or LLMs) using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• System Architecture: Build scalable data pipelines and robust AI backends that can handle high-throughput production traffic.
• Optimization: Fine-tune models for performance, latency, and cost-efficiency. This includes quantization, pruning, and hyperparameter optimization.
• Deployment (MLOps): Lead the transition from prototype to production using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for ML (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow).
• Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineers to refine data collection and Software Engineers to integrate AI features into our core product.
• Innovation: Stay current with the latest AI research and evaluate how new techniques (like RAG, Agentic Workflows, or PeFT) can be applied to our business.

Technical Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in AI/Machine Learning roles.
• Programming: Mastery of Python (including NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn). Proficiency in C++ or Java is a plus.
• Deep Learning: Strong hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras.
• LLM Expertise: Experience with Large Language Model orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, QLoRA).
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS (SageMaker), GCP (Vertex AI), or Azure AI.
• Data Handling: Proficiency in SQL and experience with Vector Databases (Chroma, Pinecone, Milvus).

Soft Skills & Leadership

• Problem-Solving: A "first-principles" thinker who can debug complex systems and optimize messy datasets.
• Communication: The ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
