Your Role

As an Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Lead Engineer, you will lead the technical design, implementation, and optimization of customer experience solutions across enterprise environments. You will define platform architecture, guide integration and activation strategies, and mentor teams while leveraging AEP capabilities such as Real-Time CDP, Journey Orchestration, and Offer Decisioning.

In this role, you will:

• Design and deploy Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) solutions across large-scale enterprise environments.
• Define and manage XDM schemas, identity resolution strategies, and consent management frameworks.
• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, unification, and activation.
• Integrate AEP with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions including Adobe Target, Web SDK, Adobe Journey Orchestration (AJO), and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
• Integrate AEP with external enterprise systems using APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Handle complex AEP queries and work with relational and hybrid data models.
• Implement Offer Decisioning and personalization use cases to drive customer engagement.
• Ensure compliance with global and regional data privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and Indias DPDP Act.
• Participate in platform governance, performance optimization, and best practice definition.
• Collaborate with business, marketing, and data teams to translate requirements into scalable AEP solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, reviews, and guidance to delivery teams.

Your Profile

• 6+ years of experience working with digital experience platforms, with 3+ years of hands-on AEP implementation experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Platform, including RTCDP, Adobe Journey Orchestration, Identity Service, and governance capabilities.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Launch, Web SDK, and event-based data collection frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL concepts, and distributed systems, especially in CDP architectures.
• Experience designing secure, scalable data solutions with identity resolution and consent enforcement.
• Strong understanding of customer data activation, personalization, and analytics workflows.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide technical teams and interact with senior stakeholders.
