Role Description

Counsel students and parents regarding MBBS (UG) and MD MS (PG) admissions in India (Government, Private & Deemed Universities).

Explain NEET UG / PG eligibility, cut-offs, category rules, domicile criteria, and counselling processes (AIQ & State).

Support students throughout the entire admission process from enquiry to final seat confirmation.

Assist in document verification, counselling registration, choice filling, and reporting guidance.

Handle inbound & outbound calls, reference follow-ups, and lead nurturing.

Provide career guidance and realistic admission strategies based on NEET score, budget & preferences.

Maintain accurate records of student interactions using CRM / Excel / Google Sheets.

Coordinate with internal teams for application tracking and admission updates.

Stay updated with MCC, State Counselling Authorities, seat matrix, and cut-off trends.

Skills

Prior experience as an MBBS India Counsellor is highly preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills (Hindi & English).

Good analytical ability to evaluate student profiles and admission possibilities.

Understanding in inside sales / education marketing / admissions is a plus.

Clear understanding of NEET UG/ PG counselling structure AIQ vs State Quota Government / Private / Deemed medical colleges Seat distribution & cut-off analysis (optional)

Comfortable using CRM systems

Canva (basic creatives) (optional)

Basic working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets for lead and admission tracking. (preferred)

Ability to handle pressure during counselling season and meet timelines.

Ethical counselling approach

Willingness to learn and stay updated with frequent counselling changes
