Designation : Accounts Payable Head

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Head is responsible for leading the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, statutory compliance, cash flow management, and effective internal controls. The Accounts Payable Head need to liaise with the Accounts Receivables Head on regularly basis to ensure accurate and correct recording of the costs. The role requires managing a team of 57 members while supporting the organization's financial objectives and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting mandatory.

Experience

• 6-8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts with at least 3 years in a leadership role within Accounts Payable.
• Experience in handling AP operations for organizations with annual turnover of 300 Crores or more.
• Proven experience managing a team of minimum 57 members.
• Strong exposure to ERP systems. Working under Zohobooks will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay expertise.
• GST, TDS, and statutory compliance knowledge.
• Financial reporting and reconciliation skills.
• Internal controls and audit management.
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency.
