Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for an Accountant with hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL) and Record to Report (R2R) processes. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Years of Experience: 2 to 9 years
• Perform end-to-end R2R activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Manage and maintain General Ledger accounts with accuracy and compliance
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and post journal entries (manual and system-generated)
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies for resolution
• Support financial reporting and audit requirements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for financial data and clarifications

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of General Ledger (GL) and R2R processes
• Hands-on experience in journal entries, reconciliations, and closing activities
• Good knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS basics)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
