Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Gurugram. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The role will support the preparation of financial reports, cash flow statements, and budget tracking, while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. The Accountant will also coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, and financial institutions, and help improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and expense tracking.
  • Ability to prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and basic budgeting documents.
  • Familiarity with tax compliance, statutory filings, and applicable accounting standards (e.g., Indian GAAP/IFRS as relevant).
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, reconciliations, and reporting).
  • Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and internal controls.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams, auditors, and external partners.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/Cost Accounting) are an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, collaborate in a team environment, and handle confidential financial information responsibly.
