Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will oversee and maintain financial records, manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure accurate reconciliation of transactions, and prepare detailed financial reports. Additional responsibilities include assisting in budget preparation, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, supporting audits, and delivering timely analysis to aid decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Financial Accounting, Account Reconciliation, and Bookkeeping
- Strong knowledge of Taxation, Compliance, and Auditing procedures
- Experience with Financial Reporting and Budget Preparation
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools, such as Tally, SAP B1 or ERP systems
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach to financial data and reporting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelors degree preferred)
- Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is a plus
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
Reporting
- To Technical Director
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations within the manufacturing unit.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of financial activities and transactions.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Support the finance team with forecasting and financial planning.
