As we scale, we are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accountant to strengthen our financial discipline and support business growth.


Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive Accountant who can independently manage the companys day-to-day finances, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and provide timely financial insights to management. This role requires someone trustworthy, organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

  • Maintain books of accounts accurately in accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books / similar)
  • Record all receipts, payments, invoices, expenses, and bank transactions
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain fund planning visibility
  • Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and MIS reports for management
  • Track profitability by booking / client / service type where required

Travel Business Operations Support

  • Reconcile supplier payments (hotels, airlines, DMCs, visa vendors, etc.)
  • Verify margins on holiday packages and bookings
  • Track customer advances, pending balances, refunds, and credits
  • Support costing accuracy for sales and operations teams
  • Monitor overdue receivables and follow up systematically

Compliance & Controls

  • GST filings, TDS, statutory payments, and coordination with CA
  • Ensure vendor invoices and documentation are complete
  • Maintain audit-ready records and documentation
  • Improve internal controls to reduce leakages and errors

Founder & Management Support

  • Share weekly finance dashboard with leadership
  • Highlight risks, unusual expenses, delayed payments, and cash concerns proactively
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
  • 3+ years of accounting experience (travel industry experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, reconciliations, and bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, Excel / Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • High integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to work fast and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi/Telugu preferred
