Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and support the companys financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and experience handling accounting operations in a growing organization. The role also requires familiarity with international transaction compliance and multi-entity accounting environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records across all transactions
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage GST filings, TDS deductions, and statutory compliance
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and RBI guidelines related to international transactions
- Support accounting requirements related to international operations and cross-border payments
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor company expenses
- Ensure timely vendor payments and invoice processing
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning
- Support payroll processing and financial documentation when required
- Manage accounting activities across multiple company entities if required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com or equivalent)
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books (mandatory)
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Knowledge of export compliance, international accounting transactions, and RBI regulations
- Experience handling multi-company or multi-entity accounting operations
- Strong bookkeeping and financial documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
