5S Specialist - AM

Exide Energy Solutions Ltd is setting up Indias first Giga plant to manufacture Lithium Ion Cells in Bengaluru. Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for PPC in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve companys goal at the Devanahalli, Bangalore Location.

Job Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore

We are currently hiring for the following positions ManufacturingTeam:

1.Production Planning Specialist - AM

• Develop medium- and long-term production plans aligned with sales forecasts, customer demand, delivery commitments, and manufacturing capacity.
• Execute MRP activities in SAP and ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, PPE, packaging materials, and process chemicals to support uninterrupted production.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage replenishment activities, and support new product introduction, trial runs, commissioning, and ramp-up production activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, Finance, and S&OP teams to resolve material constraints, capacity issues, and production risks.
• Track production planning KPIs, generate MIS reports, maintain ERP master data and documentation, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance and audit readiness.

2.Production Scheduling Specialist - AM

• Prepare and manage daily and shift-wise production schedules based on machine capacity, manpower availability, and material readiness.
• Monitor real-time production execution, release and confirm work orders through ERP/MES systems, and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, machine breakdowns, labor shortages, and production bottlenecks to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
• Plan and forecast PPE and production consumable requirements, coordinate with vendors and procurement teams, and ensure timely material availability for manufacturing operations.
• Track production performance, downtime, schedule adherence, and variances against plan, while generating MIS reports and improvement recommendations.
• Maintain production scheduling documentation and collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

3.Inventory Control Specialist - AM

• Ensure accurate inventory management and zero stock variance across WIP, Raw Materials (RM), Semi-Finished Goods (SFG), Finished Goods (FG), consumables, and hazardous/non-hazardous scrap through regular stock counting and reconciliation.
• Monitor, identify, and resolve inventory discrepancies, SAP posting errors, and system variances using approved adjustment processes and preventive controls to maintain data integrity and transparency.
• Perform inventory reconciliation between physical stock and ERP/SAP records, including batch processing, BOM validation, and multi-stage material tracking to ensure accurate inventory visibility.
• Conduct root cause analysis for stock variances and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence and improve inventory accuracy.
• Provide accurate inputs for IGCR calculations and ensure compliance with legal, environmental, safety, and company inventory management standards.
• Maintain proper inventory documentation, reconciliation records, audit readiness, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for effective inventory control and process improvement.

4. 5S Control Specialist - AM

• Lead the implementation and deployment of 5S programs across production lines, warehouses, laboratories, and maintenance areas to improve workplace organization, efficiency, and operational discipline.
• Conduct regular 5S audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective and preventive actions to sustain compliance, continuous improvement, and workplace standards.
• Develop and maintain visual management systems including shadow boards, labeling systems, floor markings, and standardized workplace controls.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and EHS teams to integrate 5S, Lean, Kaizen, and safety practices into daily operations and SOPs.
• Ensure all 5S activities and workplace conditions that may directly or indirectly impact product quality are identified, controlled, and prevented through proper housekeeping and process discipline.
• Train and coach employees on 5S principles, Lean methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives, while monitoring performance metrics, preparing management reports, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards

5.Data / MES / ERP Specialist - AM

• Ensure end-to-end material traceability from goods receipt to finished goods dispatch through accurate batch management, lot tracking, and material movement monitoring in MES and SAP systems.
• Perform timely and accurate posting of Raw Material (RM), Semi-Finished Goods (SFG), and Finished Goods (FG) transactions, while identifying and resolving material variances caused by incorrect system postings.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, scrap, and rework records in MES and SAP to support traceability, audits, quality control, variance analysis, and inventory accuracy.
• Monitor real-time production progress, equipment status, and work order completion through MES, ensuring all production activities are properly recorded and confirmed in the system.
• Analyze MES and SAP data to identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and recurring issues, while reconciling discrepancies between physical and system records.
• Validate material availability before production, coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for replenishment, and provide guidance and training to operators on MES/SAP processes and best practices.

Requirements:

Must have 6-15 yrs experience with B.E / B.Tech
