About us:


Were building SpaceSync the Figma of Architecture: an AI-powered design platform that lets architects move from a brief to real, editable building geometry, and back again, in real time. Were a small, founder-led team shipping fast, backed by IIT Madras Research Park, and going after the US, UK, and EU markets in the AEC space.

Youd be joining a tight team where your work goes straight into the product. No layers, no busywork what you build, users see.


The role:


Were looking for a 3D Developer Intern to help us build SpaceModule, the part of SpaceSync where architectural geometry comes to life. Youll live at the intersection of Babylon.js and Blender, turning building components and design intent into fast, beautiful, interactive 3D.

This is a high-ownership role on a small team. Youll have real problems to solve, real deadlines, and real say in how we solve them.


What youll work on:


Build and refine interactive 3D scenes in the Babylon.js viewport that powers SpaceModule (and the design canvas it shares with SpaceDesign).

Model, optimize, and rig parametric building components and assets in Blender.

Own the asset pipeline Blender glTF/GLB Babylon.js keeping geometry clean, lightweight, and game-ready.

Tackle performance: draw calls, instancing, LOD, scene graph management, and keeping large architectural scenes buttery-smooth in the browser.

Work with geometry and 3D math transforms, meshing, spatial logic to make the model behave the way architects expect.

Collaborate directly with the founders and product team on what to build next.

What were looking for

Solid hands-on experience with Babylon.js (or strong Three.js / WebGL experience and the appetite to switch).

Real Blender skills modeling, UVs, materials, and clean export pipelines.

Comfortable in JavaScript / TypeScript.

A working grasp of 3D fundamentals: vectors, matrices, coordinate systems, meshes, lighting.

Self-driven, fast-learning, and genuinely excited to take ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable and committed on a team this small, people count on each other.

Bonus points

Experience with glTF optimization, GLSL shaders, or WebGL performance profiling.

Exposure to AEC / BIM / CAD workflows (Revit, Rhino, IFC) or a real interest in architecture.

Familiarity with React / Next.js.
