Meet Nuseir Yassin: The Man Behind Nas Daily – From Lonely Kid to Inspiring Millions

Meet Nuseir Yassin, aka Nas Daily, a Palestinian-Israeli entrepreneur who went from being a shy kid to creating a global movement with his 1000-day video challenge, inspiring millions and now building a company to empower others to change the world.

  • 1. Nuseir Yassin, also known as Nas, is the founder of Nas Daily, a channel where they make videos about people from all around the world.
  • 2. They have 59-60 million followers and the videos are short but impactful.
  • 3. Nas has a big heart, is a huge inspiration and has a lot of energy and excitement in his videos.
  • 4. He was born in a 100% Arab town in the middle of Israel and grew up as a Palestinian-Israeli minority.
  • 5. As a child, he was lonely, shy, and wanted to escape his environment and see how the world works, which led him to apply for university in the United States.
  • 6. He studied economics and computer science at Harvard and met people from different cultures, political systems, and nationalities.
  • 7. After graduating, he became a software engineer at PayPal but left because he felt there was no meaning behind the job.
  • 8. He then started making videos and created Nas Daily with the goal of creating 1000 videos in 1000 days.
  • 9. The most difficult part of creating one video like this is that it takes 10 hours or so, and he had to push himself to launch a new video every day at 1 pm.
  • 10. He learned that people care more about what he sees than about him, so he started pointing the camera at other people and traveling to different countries.
  • 11. After 300 videos, he realized that humans are 99% the same and only 1% different, which he calls culture.
  • 12. He gained success after 270 videos and now has over 50 million followers.
  • 13. The last video on day 1000 was an emotional experience for him, and he felt empty and lost after finishing the project.
  • 14. He emphasizes the importance of using time wisely and building a company that can continue for 100 years after you're gone.
  • 15. He is currently focusing on building his company to help bring people together, mix cultures, and build an ecosystem of products.
  • 16. Failure is part of the game, and he encourages people to look at what society is doing and do the opposite.
  • 17. He believes that some rules society has are not right, and it's important to create solutions instead of just problems.
  • 18. Nas grew up in a village that was 100% Muslim, and next to him was another village that was 100% Jewish, but they didn't live or interact with each other.
  • 19. He wants to bring people together through experiences, software (technology), and content.
  • 20. His company helps build better communities and will create an ecosystem of products that help each other.
  • 21. Before Nas Daily succeeded, he failed 270 times until day number 271 succeeded.
  • 22. He encourages people to disagree with some rules society has and create solutions instead of just problems.
  • 23. The reason why you are who you are is because of the five people around you.
  • 24. Nas Daily's goal is to build the next Nas Daily, who is interested in changing their little world and needs education, technology, inspiration, and community.
