Senior Manager

Responsibilities

The Data Analytics Senior Manager is an integral part of the Mode l Development team and is tasked with managing a team of analytic specialists that will design and develop the necessary processes to deliver high quality insights that enable Client to improve business results.

·       Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of end-to-end business processes and project requirements through close partnership with key business stakeholders

·       Working primarily on extracting data from multiple sources and analyses and provide solutions using statistical and mathematical methodologies and tools.

·       Banking domain/Cards/Loans/mortgage / financial service, smart card, retail banking etc. is Mandatory

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complicated and large amounts of data with business insights

·       Excellent knowledge of various statistical techniques and proven skill in statistical modeling (Regression, Logistic Regression, Time series, Clustering, CHAID/Classification trees Etc.)

·       Detailing model techniques and interpretation of variables used in the scorecard to be documented and presented to client Stakeholders.

·       Experience managing analytical talents to identify, prioritize, design, develop and implement advanced analytical solutions to complex business problems/opportunities in a deadline driven environment.

·       The candidate would be required to interact and co-ordinate with various groups within the bank, including the model developers, functional groups, and technology teams.

·       The Candidate In addition to working hands on, you would also be required to lead critical projects candidate would need to supervise, mentor junior resources and would be responsible for developing and/or validating retail risk and regulatory models.

Benchmark models/ with ML algorithms

Minimum Qualifications

·       Experience in statistical modeling (Regression, Time Series, Survival Models, Markov TPM, scorecards etc.) in the risk and regulatory domain

·       Should be highly skilled in communicating complex ideas and Advanced Analytics techniques

·       Excellent client management and communication/presentation skills – written & verbal

·       Strong networking, negotiation and influencing skills

·       Self-driven, proactive, “can-do” attitude. Ability to work under ambiguity and with minimal supervision.

·       Good project management experience preferred agile methodologies and demonstrated expertise of communicating and coordinating across multiple business units

·       Experience in Agile Project Management would be preferred

·       Expertise in SAS, Python, Decision trees and SAS macros

·       Experience in visualization technologies Tableau Spotfire MATLAB and SPSS is a plus

·       Experience in modelling projects using cloud platforms, like Azure devops/AWS Sagemaker

·       Experience in working in version control environment with Git/SVN

 

Requires attention to detail when providing recommendations based on the analysis of information and data, applies own judgment based on experience when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner to stakeholders.
